Leather & Cords
Waxed linen, leather cord, chain and other stringing materials are simple to use and produce amazing results.
Classes for the Leather & Bead Wrap Bracelet are scheduled just about every month (see below). The others are occasionally scheduled as our Third Friday $10 Workshops (check out the Third Friday Workshops page to see what's coming up). You'll also find instructions on our Free Tips & How To's page, and if you still need help just pop into the shop and staff will get you started.
Unless otherwise specified, classes are designed for adults ages 16 and up.
Leather & Bead Wrap Bracelet - 2 1/2 hour class
Description: Create this contemporary bracelet that wraps beads between two lengths of leather and finishes with an updated “button and loop” closure. Instructor: Kate Linne or Laurel Wolff
Class Fee: $30 (Materials extra)
Students will Learn: Students select beads and learn how to measure the correct amount of leather for their desired bracelet. Students will attach the button and use the Griffin bead cord to add beads and wrap the bead cord around the leather, and will finish the end by knotting the leather and cord to make a loop for the closure.
By the end of class students will have completed: one single wrap bracelet.

SUPPLIES FOR WRAP BRACELET
For a single wrap bracelet:
30" 1.5mm or 2mm leather
1 package Griffin Bead Cord, size 4 or 5
6mm beads, approx. 30
1 button for clasp with holes large enough for the leather to go through.
