This project requires some manual dexterity for handling several pieces of soft wire with small beads -- best for ages 8 and up.
The Legend of the Christmas Spider is an Eastern European folktale which explains the origin of tinsel on Christmas Trees. Here is one version of the story:
A widowed mother and her children were too poor to decorate their Christmas tree, so friendly spiders spun elaborate webs on the evergreen. When the family awoke on Christmas morning, they opened the curtains and the sunshine hit the webs, turning them silver and gold.

The kit includes instructions, four 8-inch lengths of wire, one 1.25" headpin, one body bead, one head bead, one bead cap, and enough bugle beads and seed beads to complete the legs. Chain nose or round nose pliers can be helpful, but any tool for bending wire is fine.
