Keep Summer Simple

It's been a busy spring around this part of town. Time to take a deep breath and relax while contemplating what to do this summer.  That's what we did here, and came up with some ideas you might like too.

We're offering these drop-in projects throughout the summer (for all the details, go to our Special Events tab on our website).  But if your schedule doesn't match ours, we can set you up with the materials and simple instructions.

Bar necklaces are quick and easy and a perfect lightweight summer accessory.  You need chain nose and round nose pliers, but once you've selected your beads, assembly is a snap!

The bead & rings wrap bracelet is always popular.  The design possibilities are endless.  Easily made into a multi-wrap bracelet (which can also convert to a necklace), it even makes a great travel project (e.g. kids / backseat / airplane activity).

The caterpillar bracelet is another favorite.  Another easy-to-adapt pattern and -- YES -- another great travel project!
